Today, I am featuring the all new Southern Oaks Event Venue in Gilbert, S.C. This beautiful little spot is about 10 minutes from my home and it is booming with a rustic, southern wedding flair. Southern Oaks is owned and operated by Pam, Brett Reeder and family. "Southern Oaks has a historic home, covered reception area that is surrounded by beautiful oaks. Your guests will love the simple -southern – charm."
Southern Oaks is a charming new event and wedding venue located off of Highway 378 in Gilbert, SC. Only a few miles from Lexington S.C. or Batesburg Leesville, S.C. They are a family owned full service event venue, striving to offer all your event needs in one location with their own florist, DJ, and photographer. The home was built in the early 1800s and an addition was added in the early 1900's. It was owned by the Sease family and stayed in that family for nearly 200 years until it was purchased it in February of 2015. The Reeders have worked to restore and decorate this home with lovely pieces from the early 18th & 19th century.
